Los Abuelos is the Mexican-market name of Tequila Fortaleza, the traditionally produced tequila founded by fifth-generation tequila maker Guillermo Sauza. Made at the historic Destilería La Fortaleza in Tequila, Jalisco, the brand revived the Sauza family’s old-world methods using brick ovens, a stone tahona, wooden fermentation vats and small copper pot stills.
