Maestro Dobel is a premium tequila brand produced by Becle, S.A.B. de C.V., one of Mexico's largest tequila producers. The brand was introduced in 2008 by Juan Domingo Beckmann, an eleventh-generation member of the Beckmann family, whose family has been associated with tequila production for more than 250 years. The brand gained international recognition with the launch of Maestro Dobel Diamante, widely credited as the first commercially successful Cristalino tequila. Diamante is produced by blending Extra Añejo, Añejo, and Reposado tequilas before filtering the spirit to remove its color while retaining much of the complexity developed during barrel maturation. Today, Maestro Dobel's portfolio includes Blanco, Reposado, Añejo, Extra Añejo, Cristalino, smoked tequila expressions, and limited-edition releases. Production uses Blue Weber agave grown in Jalisco and combines traditional tequila-making techniques with modern innovation, including specialized maturation, barrel finishing, and filtration methods. Distributed internationally by Becle, Maestro Dobel has become one of the leading premium tequila brands and has played a significant role in the global growth of the Cristalino category. The brand continues to emphasize innovation while maintaining compliance with Mexico's tequila regulations and production standards.
