Wild Common Reposado is an additive-free tequila produced at Cascahuín Distillery (NOM 1123) in El Arenal, Jalisco, in collaboration with the Rosales family. Crafted from mature Blue Weber agave grown in the Los Valles region, it reflects the brand’s commitment to traditional production methods, transparency, and expressive agave-forward tequila. The agaves are cooked in traditional stone and brick ovens before a combination of tahona and roller mill extraction. Fermentation is conducted in open-air stainless steel and cement tanks using both fiber-on and fiber-off methods, followed by double distillation in copper pot stills. The tequila is rested in bourbon barrels to develop subtle notes of vanilla, oak, and baking spice while maintaining the vibrant character of the agave. Bottled at 43% ABV (86 proof) and produced without additives, Wild Common Reposado offers a balanced expression that combines the freshness of a Blanco with the added depth of gentle barrel maturation.
