Fortaleza Reposado – Winter Blend 2025 is the latest annual limited-edition release in Fortaleza’s renowned Winter Blend series, produced at Tequila Los Abuelos (NOM 1493) in Tequila, Jalisco. Crafted from mature Blue Weber agave grown in the Tequila Valley (Los Valles), it combines Fortaleza’s traditional production methods with a carefully selected barrel-aging program that gives each Winter Blend its own distinct character. The tequila is produced using traditional stone and brick ovens, tahona extraction, open-air fermentation in wooden tanks (pipones), and double distillation in copper pot stills using deep well water. Selected reposado lots are matured in a combination of French oak and American white oak barrels before being blended and bottled at 46% ABV (92 proof). Produced without additives and released in limited quantities, Winter Blend 2025 delivers a balanced profile of cooked agave, vanilla, toasted oak, baking spice, citrus, and gentle floral notes while maintaining the authentic, agave-forward style that has made Fortaleza’s annual Winter Blend releases highly sought after.
